Create a topology
For the selection areas, click on to choose a value, on
to empty the area.
To create a topology, you can click on "Create a topology" in the menu on the left : the new topology is created at the tree structure root.
You can also click on "Add" in the tool bar at the top of the page, from the topologies list. Then you can "Insert on the same level" of the currently selected topology or "Add to the inferior level" of the selected topology.
- "General" tab :
- Date of setting : creation date, purchase date or commissioning date. No operation attached to this topology can take place before the chosen date.
- Code : short identifier.
- Description : complete description. You can localize the description by clicking on
.
- Type : select the type of element to be created, by default "Equipment".
- Functional class : assign the functional class to which the topology is linked if it is necessary.
- Technical data sheet : if the functional class has been defined above and if it is linked to technical data sheet(s), you can select the sheet(s) to be displayed. If the functional class is not linked to a technical data sheet, the list is empty.
- Photo : click "Choose a file" to add a picture of this topology.
- "Work sets" tab : allows you to add / edit / remove work sets attached to this topology. To learn more about managing work sets, see Creating a work set.
- "Additional information" tab :
- Criticality : criticality level of the topology (to define the criticality levels, see Criticality of topologies).
- Serial number : equipment serial number.
- Hourly cost of non-production : when the equipment is stopped, one stop hour represents the cost here specified.
- Tag ID : barcode identifier of the equipment. This area is automatically filled in and has to be not modified.
- Secondary code : second short identifier (optional).
- Analytical section : analytical section linked to the equipment.
- User : if relevant, define the user of this topology.
- Service : if relevant, define the service managing this topology.
- "Geolocation" tab :
If you have the geolocation option, you can specify the geographic location of the topology on a map.
- Click on
to zoom in / zoom out on the map.
- You can click-and-drag the map
- Click on
to get a full screen geolocation module.
- Click on
to search an address.
- Click
to go to your current location (only works if you have a GPS enabled device).
- Double click the desired spot to pick the place.
Click on "OK" to save.
