Depending on the screen resolution, the tool bar at the top of the page may not display all the options introduced here. In this case, on the right of the tool bar you will see a button which contains the additional tools.





Set the connection string


To add reports, you have to define first the default connection string at database.

Click on "Set" to set up the connection string, then you can click on "Show" or "Modify".


      • Server name : name or IP address du serveur SQL (par exemple "LOCALHOST\SQLEXPRESS").
      • Database name : database name on the SQL server.
      • User name : user name for the connection to the SQL server.
      • Password : password for the SQL server connection.


Click on "Save" to preserve the settings.





Add


Click on "Add / Add a pre-built report" to add a report to the list.


OR


Click on "Add / Add a new report" to add a specific report to the list, created with the tool Crystal Reports.

Then click on in the second part of the window, and select the file(s) to be added.

Click on to send a report on the server, or click on in the case of multiple reports.

The column "Status" displays for the reports which are sent.


You can also choose to delete a report in the list of reports to sent, or to empty the list of reports to sent.


When you added the reports, click on the upper part of the window to access to the list.





Modify


Select a report in the list and click on "Modify".


      • Title : modify if it is necessary.
      • File : click on "Browse" to replace the report. Attention, report name must be identical to the previous.
      • Copy the report connection string : select a connection string to recopy if the report data aren't accessible with the default connection string. You can also manually modify the connection information.
      • Mainti profiles allowed access to report : click on "Add" to add an allowed user profile, or on to delete it.


Click on "Save" to preserve the changes.





Delete


Select a report in the list and click on "Delete".
